A very young entrepreneur came to us to design her resthouse/office inside her 2-hectare property that houses her piggery. She wanted an A-frame resthouse that will serve as an office for 4 people. She also wanted all the bells and whistles of the latest house designs including a waiting area/living area, pantry, lanai, porch and bedroom.
All these in more or less an 80 square meter floor area. Here’s what we designed for her:
As you can see, we gave her just what she needed – an A-frame small house design Philippines that’s beautiful and satisfies her needs. As you enter from the porch you will be greeted by the waiting area/living room on the right side and a staircase on the left side. Straight ahead is the pantry/kitchen. On its left side is the 4-person office and on its right is a toilet and bath and at the back side is the lanai area.
The roof is made of DECRA and is an environmental friendly roofing material. It shields the house from the unnecessary noise of rain drops. Aside from the noise, it dampens the house as it also has a double bubble roofing insulation that protects the users from the extreme heat or humidity. The main materials used in the house are wood, steel and concrete.
The tapered shape of the house gave way to a high ceiling waiting/living area. There are 4 bay windows on this tiny house Philippines design – 2 on each side of the house to allow ample natural light and ventilation in. The color palette is of earth tone, complementing the environment.
